Of course I turned to turmeric! Mixing it with a bit of water and some honey for exfoliation, I created a paste and applied it to the affected area.
Noting the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric I thought of turmeric as an immediate remedy. In addition to applying the paste, I upped my daily turmeric intake by adding more to my teas, smoothies and curries.
I’m not sure if the turmeric was solely responsible for clearing up this ‘irritating’ irritation but a few days later it noticeably cleared up! Ayurvedically speaking, turmeric is known to treat acne, rashes and eczema so it’s no wonder my skin is as good as new!
