September is a great month to reflect on the summer, regroup, evaluate new goals and think about where are you going from now until the end of the year.
Getting back on track in September for me means going back to basics, healthy eating and practicing a better sleep routine.
There is one thing, however I enjoyed all summer long that I’m bringing into my autumn regimen – my Turmeric Ginger Fizz! Refreshing and hydrating, it’s a nice drink to serve with a beautiful or a basic meal. Infused with ginger and turmeric and with cardamom notes, it’s a pleasant beverage to have all year round.
Turmeric Ginger Fizz
2/3 cup water
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. Arvinda’s Chai Masala
2-3 slices ginger root
1 bottle sparkling water
Method: In a small saucepan, bring water to a rolling boil. Add sugar, turmeric, Arvinda’s Chai Masala and ginger root. Continue to boil until reduced into a syrup.
In a tall glass filled with ice, spoon in 1-2 tsp. of syrup.
Top with sparkling water and there you have Turmeric Ginger Fizz – perfect anytime as a refreshing beverage.
